Mario Kart is a classic game that we all know and love. And even some of us have fought over, but what would you think if you had the opportunity to be in the middle of the actual race? Could you imagine grabbing a red shell and actually throw it at your opponent? What would you say if you could give Luigi your own death stare as you pass him while crossing the finish line? Well, that is now a reality thanks to one of the attractions at Bandai Namco’s new Tokyo arcade VR-Zone Shinjuku, that will be opening July 14. This is currently using Bandi Namco’s existing Arcade cabinets with a driver’s seat, wheel, and pedals. But now you can play in the first person.
Unfortunately, this is only available in Japan but hopefully, something like this could come stateside. Below you will see the instructions on how to properly play this new VR game. If you could play Mario Kart VR, let us know down in the comment section below.
