According to our snitch everyone’s favorite game distribution platform, Valve, has suprisingly launched a new streaming website by the name of Steam.tv. But as of right now the only thing you can do on the site is watch the Dota 2 International without the ability to watch anything else or stream for that matter.
Right out of the gate this could lead to a huge change in the streaming game given the size of Steam’s user base. Especially if they integrate the streaming service within the app that most gamers already have installed into there PC’s. Do you think Steam will be able to compete with Twitch and YouTube?
