Where all my Rocket League fanatics at? I’m sure you’ll be happy to know that Psyonix isn’t resting on their morals. Cross-platform play already exists between the PS4 & PC versions, but they want to improve that experience. At the moment you can only play with one another. You’ll know you’re playing someone from a different platform by the symbol next to their name.
But what about partying up? That’s what people really want to do! It’s not enough to mix and match communities. Psyonix knows this and that’s why they’re hard at work to bring that to life. Twitter user Floshke asked about the possibility of a party system and the official Rocket League Help page responded saying it’s coming in 2018. When we get more info on it we’ll be sure to let you guys know!
Hey there! We’re actively working on cross-platform party support for a 2018 release. 🙂
