Today is the official one year anniversary of Fortnite Battle Royale and Epic wants everyone to help celebrate this occasion with them! This is also the release of patch 5.10 which brings the P90 or “Compact SMG” to the scene. This is shortly after they released the regular sub-machine gun and retired the tactical SMG.
As a token of Epic’s appreciation, the Fortnite team has three challenges you can do in order to get a Fortnite birthday emote, spray, and back bling. For some, they may not be available, but Fortnite has already addressed this issue on their Twitter. Everyone should be able to see and complete the birthday challenges at 8 pm EST.
It looks like the Birthday Challenges are late to the party for some Battle Royale players.
They’ll arrive when the Store refreshes at 8pm Eastern Time (0000 GMT)

Playground Mode is back for those who missed it, and now you can select teams to practice going against your friends. Other changes in this patch include the slurp juice now granting 1 health every 0.5 seconds up to 75 total. If your health is full, shields will be granted instead. Also, building materials have been weakened. Take a look at the full patch notes here.
