Marvel made the headlines once again today by revealing that Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix, Jessica Jones) will once again reprise her role as lawyer Jeri Hogarth in Marvel’s upcoming Iron Fist series.
Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb spoke on the actress and the importance of her character in the upcoming series, stating:
“Carrie-Anne has fast become a fan-favorite part of our street level saga. As Marvel fans know, Hogarth in the comics plays a critical role in the life of Danny Rand so it seems only fitting that Carrie-Anne join in.”
Executive producer and showrunner for the Iron Fist series, Scott Buck, spoke about the character in more specifically how she fits into the Iron Fist world.
“Danny Rand lives in the highest stratosphere of New York’s business society and he’s going to need a ruthless lawyer to help him navigate this alien world. I’m very happy to have the opportunity to bring Carrie-Ann Moss as Jeri Hogarth into ‘Marvel’s Iron Fist.‘
Still no word on when the series will premiere but some rumors are pointing to a release late this year or early next year. We will keep you posted on any updates as they surface.
