Capcom continues to prove they’re clueless. “But why would you say that” I’m sure many of you are thinking. Simple. According to our sources Capcom is prioritizing HD remasters over everything.

So what does this mean for you the consumer? Want a new video game that you’ve never played? Tough luck! Want a sequel to one of your favorite Capcom franchise? Tough luck! Want Capcom to reboot one of their franchises that’s been collecting dust; I.E. Power Stone? Tough luck!

“HD remasters of our catalog hit titles will be one of our key business activities” says Capcom. That doesn’t mean we couldn’t get an original title, but I’m willing to bet you shouldn’t hold your breath. But they wonder why they’re struggling financially. It’s time to sink or swim.

Either take a risk, succeed, or tank financially or they could just continue to put band aids on their bleeding and just bleed out eventually. Either way failures an option. It’s a matter of do you want to go down trying or not? Looks like Capcom is opting for the latter.
