The spiritual successor of Banjo-Kazooie is revealed!
Playtonic games, a studio made up of the core team of RARE, who created the classic N64 title, Banjo-Kazooie, has announced its spiritual successor, titled Yooka-Laylee! Yooka is the iguana, and Laylee is the bat. According the Playtonic games, Yooka’s tongue will attach to many parts in the level, and Laylee will allow for limited flight abilities. This will allow for lots of swinging, jumping over large gaps, and other fun platforming puzzles.
On May 1st, they will launch a kick-starter for the game. They hope to launch the game on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, and the PC. As of right now, you only have to put down $15 to get your hands on the game at release. They do have stretch goals like art books, soundtracks, and even a possible 64-version of the game.
