Ever since Apex Legends came out the gate swinging in the Battle Royale market, people have been screaming for a solo mode. The issue with a solo mode comes from the way that the game was originally created. There are things like the knockdown shield and finishers that would make no sense of being in a solo mode. With that being said, eventually EA and Respawn would give in and introduce the solo mode soon enough. We’re going to get that chance in the next few weeks according to the EA CEO Andrew Wilson according to our source.

This will be a limited-time mode, similar to what Epic continues to do on Fortnite. I’m going to take a wild guess and say this is a trial period to see how solo mode would work on the long term. If it goes well, maybe solos would be a permanent mode going forward. Now we need cross-play, and this will be a BR game I will definitely be playing for a long time.

  2. I would argue this should’ve been in the hand from the start. Pubg and fortnite both have the options to go solo why not this. Fortnite ripped y’all off with the ping system at least snag this and make it permanent.
